Jamie joined U-District PT in 2015. She received her doctorate from Eastern Washington University, and is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Washington. Her interests include: orthopedic rehab, return-to-sport, pediatric/teen rehab, and manual therapy. Jamie is also a certified strength/conditioning specialist (CSCS-NSCA), and a member of the Sports Section of the APTA.
Before joining U-District, Jamie was a two-time All-American rower at Yale, and a 6-time member of the US Rowing Team. While rowing for USA, she won seven World Cup medals, set a world record, and was the port-reserve for the 2012 Olympics in London. She will be joining Team USA as an athlete rep at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. She is also the USRowing representative to the Athletes Advisory Council of the US Olympic Committee. When she’s not working, Jamie enjoys running, coaching xc-skiing on Mt. Spokane, and eating Brain Freeze ice cream.
