Katie graduated from University of Oregon earning her BS in Human Physiology and minor in Business Administration. In 2017 she received her Master of Arts In Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University. During her time in Eugene, Katie competed in 2 years of track & field at Lane Community College and was a triple jump All-American. Now she coaches long and triple jump for Varsity and JV girls at Ferris High School.
Katie is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She worked as a Personal Trainer prior to joining the U-District team in June 2013, and she continues personal training as well as sports training with clients of all ages. Katie teaches Straight Speed, Boot Camp & SLAM classes.
