Regan obtained her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University in 2024 and also holds a MSc in Exercise Science specialized in Sport Psychology (2020) from Ithaca College (NY). She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) through the board of Washington as of 2024.
Regan believes that the therapeutic relationship between the client and counselor is one that is genuine, authentic, and an empowering space for change. Throughout each session she may lean into insight building, self-compassion, and highlighting incongruencies that may be hindering growth towards your personal goals. Additionally, she does not believe there is a “one-size-fits-all” in counseling and takes an integrative approach utilizing Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
Regan has worked with a range of clients from varying backgrounds who experience depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-concept and identity concerns, relational difficulties, and grief. She also has training, experience, and education working from a sport psychology lens in both a 1-on-1 counseling setting and as a Mental Performance Coach with teams, coaches, and individual athletes.
