Karice is a certified level 1 & 2 Ashtanga, and CYT200 Hatha yoga teacher.
She has taught yoga for 20 years in various settings in Spokane area, but loves the mix of people she gets to teach at the U District.
Her passion is sharing yoga with people young and old, who never dreamed how much yoga could enhance their lives, let alone let them touch their toes! As an avid marathon/ultra-marathon runner, showing other athletes how regular yoga practice can keep them strong, healthy and injury free is a true gift.
Her recent focus is studying pain relief and yoga’s place in healthcare. Helping patients take control of their bodies and their pain through movement. She is excited to learn more about how yoga can assist people in their recovery journeys.
When not teaching yoga at the U District, or running miles around the PNW, Karice is the Office Manager of a local Environmental Laboratory. She loves gardening, Triathlon training with her husband Will, and playing with their 4 dogs.
